Photography theory and practice culture- FINAL WORK

CULTURE

contact sheet

all the shots shown below are the collage of  my shot's contact sheet, some are underlined in red which are my final 12 photos.

These are my final photos and like i tried to explain in my previous post, they all represent "culture".
most of these shots are made on people, which i love them the most, as you can meet so many people coming from different places, with a different story.
Each figure was happy being photographed even doe, some shots were stolen from people unaware of the camera.
in those cases i used a long focal lense (135mm), being able as well to take shots of people far from me; in all the shots i tried to close-up on the subject, which was showing at least his or her face and the body. Overall i'm quite happy about the work done, but i would take some shots back.
In all my pictures i tried to concentrate on the person or subject and leave the background out of focus, which in some of them i was able to put this in practice but in others, for example, even doe i like the picture of the boy with the pigeons, i was not able by timing to get the right settings for the camera as i was attracted by the birds flying around him, had to move from a sunny spot and concentrated only on the shutter speed, which was still low.
an f5.6 would have probably be alright to get a nice shot, but the one i used was an f.8.]for this whole project i would have preferred to use a 50mm 0r 35mm focal lense, which could have help with this type of shots.
