In this project i will be focusing on documentary photography and to do that i decided to walk through the city of Nottingham, stopping and asking people if i could take pictures of them.
I really enjoyed that even if sometimes it wasn't easy because some people would cooperate but some were not keen to my idea.
One of the hardest thing was being quick and be convincing with people, and make them feel comfortable. So first of all i had to interact with them and then set my camera so i could get the perfect light i was searching for.
I decide to shot in black and white because i believe colours sometimes steals the attention from the true emotion of a person and it can be distracting.
